Stopped at Blind Tiger on the way home from some work in Emporia on October 31. Bartender told me that beer prices there were set to increase 75 cents across the board starting November 1. Due to hop price increase.

I wouldn't want to accuse BT of opportunism, but a 25 percent increase in beer price seems to be extreme!

Probably should expect similar price increases elsewhere, but I hope our local brewpubs are a bit kinder!

Seems extreme to me as i read in some publication somewhere that a .25-.50 cent increase on craft beer 6 packs. An increase is expected for sure and maybe BT isnt sure how much to start at on the price increase. Interested to see where Freestate and 23rd sets their pricing..
