UPDATED 12/19/16 Almost everything for a brewery for sale

#1 Post by Rob Martin » Sat Dec 10, 2016 7:24 pm

Rumors are true, after 25 years of homebrewing, I'm calling it quits. I have lots of equipment I'm selling. The original posting is on LBG's facebook page.

Most items are bids or best offers. Some are flat rate. Reserve right not to sell if offer is too low.

Prefer cash, can swipe a credit or debit card. Depending on price, I may add the 2.5% handling fee to purchase price if a card is used. If you need to pay after Christmas, I'll hold it until Jan. 30 with a 20% non-refundable down payment to make sure you're serious.

First item is my HERMS keggle. Taking best offer.
Lowered to $50. If you don't want to make use of it as a HERMS, you can remove the guts and have a nice hot liquor tank or brew kettle.

Second item is my boil keggle. Has a really nice three part ball valve that can be taken apart for cleaning. Taking best offer. Reserve right not to sell. Please start at $40.

KEGGLE SOLD

Speidel 60L fermenter. Used less than 5 times. Has all parts including lid, locking band, bubble lock, screw cap. Brand new they $90.
SPEIDEL SOLD

Cornelius kegs. All complete and clean. All hold a seal, some better than others though. $30 each; total of five available. (Three spoken for)

ALL KEGS SOLD

Johnson Controls analog termperature thermostat. A must have if you want to lager. New, $60. $25 or best offer.

THERMOSTAT SOLD

Barley Crusher 7 lb capacity grain mill. New, $150-180. Taking best offer. Reserve right not to sell. Please start at $70.
GRAIN MILL SOLD

O2 (oxygen) tank with working regulator. Used to aerate your cooled wort so the yeast takes off quickly. Has SS air stone, but I would replace it. Taking best offer. Reserve right not to sell. Please start at $50.
O2 TANK & REGULATOR SOLD

20 pound, 20lb, 20# CO2 tank for sale. TW (tare weight) marked on tank is 25.5 lbs. Scale is measuring 40 lbs. About 16 pounds of CO2 is left in it.
$75
CO2 TANK SOLD

Have at least one 18 (20 lb) propane (standard BBQ size) empty tank for sale - $10

Lots of other stuff
blue grain buckets - $8
Stainless steel paddle
Large auto-siphon new in packaging - $10
Super Colona capper - $12 - LOWERED PRICE When doing my quick price search, I was basing the selling price off of the wrong unit. This is a capper only, but I believe you can buy a corker attachment.

5-gallon better bottles, 3, $10 each, 6-gal BB, $10, all four for $35.
Mash tun

Hi Rob!

I also responded to your posts on FB, so I'll repeat here. If still available, I would like to buy the last two kegs (someone else wanted three kegs). I'm also interested in the oxygen bottle so I'll start the offers at your $50 price.

Sorry to hear you are getting out of the hobby, but I hope you will still come see us from time to time!

Refresher as I know some avoid Facebook.

Sold items:

All 5 kegs
March pump
Speidel fermenter.

Items with current bids:
O2 tank with regulator. - $50

I'll be home today, Sunday 12/11 until 4pm if you want to come pick up the items or take a look at what's for sale. Probably best to text me at seven eight five, 764, two two two 9.

Also, have lots of beer bottles that are free. 5-gal grain buckets for $2 first one, $1 each after that. Some have grain in them. If so, the grain is free as it's probably old.

Being I haven't made it in over 2 years, I'm sure it is better now.

It's available. Basically name your fair price. I'd have to measure it to get the size because I forgot, but it maxed out at 32-33 lbs of grain and works best with 28 lbs or less. No problem if you want to come look at it before you commit.
