Two 5 gallon sanke kegs for sale

#1 Post by Bill » Tue Sep 15, 2009 10:37 pm

I have a friend that bought two 5 gallon sanke kegs at an estate sale and was wondering if anyone would like to buy them. I don't know what name is on them, he told me about them at Brewfest and I'm a bit surprised that I even remembered.

PM me to make an offer. I'm not sure of the condition or if there is still beer in them.
Thanks!

This seems vaguely familiar to me.
Just call me Andy!

Lupulin Threshold Shift
lupulin threshold shift \lu·pu·lin thresh·old shift\ n
1. When a once extraordinarily hoppy beer now seems pedestrian.
2. The phenomenon a person has when craving more bitterness in beer.
3. The long-term exposure to extremely hoppy beers; if excessive or prolonged, a habitual dependence on hops will occur.
4. When a "Double IPA" just is not enough

Gee, if there is still beer in them, I might be intersested in them

BTW, if they have names on them and they aren't all f'd up, they are worth 15-30 a piece in deposits...

Yeah, I told him that most people frown on using kegs if you don't have a trail of how there were acquired and he may have better luck returning them to the brewery.

No one has offered up anything yet, so I may tell him to find a way to return them to the brewery, providing it's logistically profitable for him.

These may be used as wine fermentors or maybe HERMS/RIMS, I've even seem them converted into gas tanks for tri-cycles/motor cycles. I sold 3 15.5 gallon Hoff-Stephens kegs to a guy that uses them for custom bikes/trikes.

Anywho... pm me if you wants 'em.
Thanks!
