Brewing hiatus is over!

#1 Post by Baron Ken » Mon Oct 26, 2009 10:31 am

After almost a year off from brewing, I'm back at it!

Oct 18 - 10 gallons IPA
Oct 25 - 10 gallons Porter

I had just barely gotten started with all-grain last year when I got busy with other things and somehow didn't get around to brewing again until now. These went well, looking forward to brewing more!

Welcome back in to the fold Baron Ken! Seems like we all get into funks (not brewing for a while-- because of stuff...) Brownshit has been busy actually, brewing again (took sept off) with a couple of brews recently, and actually trying to nudge my brew partner even into another brew session this weekend... cause seems like December is always one of those funky months... :bom:

Haha Chuck, yea, we never did manage to meet up for me to get that grain, sorry about that. I hope you made good use of it.

Unfortunately, all the grain I got from that grain buy sat for the year too, and didn't smell so great when I checked it recently. And dumping 6 cornies of beer this summer was a bummer as well.

Nope still have the unopened bag. No one that piped up for the splits followed up. Grain is still good as long as not crushed. Guess I'm stuck with it

I might be in the market for some rye, Chuck. I'll call you when I can pull away from my work for more than just a quick check of the forum.

Didn't use your portion of the bag?

I'll bring a bucket to the next meeting if you want to deal with it then.
