Maifest and Brewfest 2010 dates?
Are the dates for Maifest (May 2, 2010) and Brewfest (Sept 25, 2010) definitely correct?

I saw these dates on the LBG website calendar so that makes them correct, yes?

The LBG calendar is correct. These dates should also appear in the meeting minutes. I have reserved Bloomington West starting on Sept. 24th for 2 nights. Maifest, on the other hand, will not be at the lake this year. Sean Belden graciously offered to host the event as Bloomington was already booked.

I have an idea for Big Brew that I think will result in more beer being made that day. And that is a good thing! Many of us no longer have portable brewing rigs and having all of us out to Sean's to brew is asking a lot of a single member. How about having several LBG Big Brew sites? We could have a conference call simultaneous toast and those of us that are more comfortable brewing at home could also participate. I would gladly have several groups here brewing and I am sure that other club members with less portable systems would also be happy to have a few of the more portable brewers over to their home breweries.
What do you think? This way no one has to shoulder the entire party at their house and more beer is made!

P.S. Don't worry about your image, Sean! lol
