For those thinking of build a keg washer. Here is some heads up info.
Harbor Freight in Shawnee March 12,13,14 lot sale
1 HP sump pump with float switch 3000GPH normal 59.00 on sale 39.00
I do believe is a little different style than HATCH PLUG'S

Is this the same pump that you would need to build the keg washer that Jensen demonstrated last meeting?
I remember that some members were talking about needing a 2 or 3 HP (I thought) for a keg washer b/c the pressure in a 1HP wasn't enough.
Again, I am probably totally remembering it wrong.

I thought they were talking 1/2 vs. 3/4 vs. 1HP with emphasis on more being better.

You are probably right. As I said, I am pretty sure I was remembering it wrong. I just wanted to make sure that is what one would need before I bought it.

I just built one and I am here to say 1HP is plenty of juice.
and at $39, can't beat it. I used a Harbor Freight pump for my build...see

That's a good deal, may have to do it. And since that would be close, if they let me cross the Kaw I could go bug Swag......
Maybe drag Drew there too, supposed to be in town then.

Sounds like I better blow the bridge

It is a good deal don't really need a pump but the price is right I just might pick up one
