Brown Bear Brewing co.

I had a guy ask me if id be intersted in buying 2 5gal kegs thinking of soda kegs i said yes only to see sanki 5.16 Brown Bear kegs are these legal to use or should should I stay away. My understading is Brown Bear is no longer in bisness so it would seem these would be OK. looking for imput befor i buy price is right! thanks Jack!!

I'd say they are legal tender in the homebrewing community. That brewery has been out of business for almost 15 years now. If you have a use for sanke, and the price is right, I say go for it!

Oddly enough, I have a 7.5 and a 5.5 gallon Brown Bear sanke keg that a friend gave me. Haven't gotten around to converting them for use in homebrewing yet, but then, that was before Swagman came into our lives. :)

I should probably talk to him about some of his neato conversion parts. You might want to do the same, Jack.
