Refractometer
I like not having to take such a large sample to monitor the fermentation, but am confused by the readings and how to compare with what I read on line and hear from others. I used the Onebeer.net refractometer calculator to correct the post-fermentation reading and from an actual reading of 6 Brix it says this is SG 0.999 (orig 15.7 Brix). That would be apparant attenuation of 101% (82% actual). Does this sound right?
