Need some 1056 or 1968 or 001 or 007

#1 Post by cyburai » Tue Apr 12, 2011 11:00 am

I am brewing on Friday with a friend of mine, and he wants a IPA or IIPA.

But my 1056 pitch is suspect. I'd like to have a backup ready just in case (which is probable).

Anyone have a slug of yeast or a couple of packs / tubes they would part with? I'd compensate ya.

And I'll pick it up.

Thanks.

I have a 1500ml Starter of Wyeast American Ale, I have going right now! Send a message, if you can dig up a container we can harvest some. My brew day is planed on Saturday. Let me know. I can send my phone in PM. I have a lot of Light DME, also.

I'll be racking 5 gal off a 1272 yeast cake (1.071 OG RIPA) the next day or two, if you're interested in a different yeast.

Dillon, hold onto yours for your brewday. I can make the 1272 work in the IPA.

Jim, I'll get a hold of you Wednesday to work out getting the yeast from you.
