Meet the newest addition to our home.
Freya Piper Monaghan
Freya was born September, 29th @ 3:29pm. She was 7 lbs. even and 19 1/2 inches. As many of you know, Erin was a week past her due date when she came out to Brewfest last weekend. She is a trooper. We were very concerned Friday morning that we were going to need to induce, as Erin had been in labor for nearly 3 days, but she was amazing and gave birth to Freya naturally within 3 hours of ariving at the hospital.
Very tired, but happy parents.
Taking Freya home. (note the Brewfest 10 shirt)
Hope all is well with you and yours.
Cheers!
John Monaghan

Congrats!!
She's awfully cute, and I dig the name. Not that I haven't called you a couple of times a day for the last couple of days.

Wow I get rather sappy when I see new parents! Great looking kid! congrats and welcome to parent hood...it's worth every minute or hour of sleep lost etc.
Are you going to do a big wine or something to commermorate her arrival?
Edit: Looking at the time of birth Andy and I (and others) were pulling into Denver for GABF...Guess it's a good thing you didn't go

Sleep? What is that? Let's see, 1:45am on a Tuesday...Nope shouldn't be awake right now, but here I am typing one handed and rocking Freya with the other. As for a commemerative wine or mead, I am not realy sure what to make. Perhaps I will dedicate this next batch of ABC to her.
Cheers!

Oh, she's just beautiful (wiping away tear)!
I am working on enchiladas as I write - beans are cooking and rice will be done tonight. I'll call you tomorrow about a delivery time.
Congrats!
