Do you buy your roasted barley or roast your own?

What does everyone do? Just buy it preroasted or has anyone lived on the wild side and roasted their own. Couldn't you control the roast a bit better. Avoid the semi burt flavor I have gotten a couple of times. Let me know, trying to decide if I should beg for a split on a bag of the preroasted stuff or take one step further into the dark side and try it on my own. lol

I haven't, but I do have a bunch of roasted malts (kiln black, roasted barley, etc.). I am sure we can work a trade out.

ditto... I got some stuff to swap out, but I think both Sean and I have the same grains laying around, seeing how we both got too many of the same specialty grains.
