One kick a** week

#1 Post by l_townbrewer » Wed Oct 03, 2007 7:05 pm

Just to let everyone know, my insurance premiums just dropped a crap load. I guess getting old isn't all bad. Also since everyone thought it was such a good idea at Brewfest. I got engaged to the wonderful lady who let me go to brew school. To top it all off I just started as a paid employee at Flying Dog Brewery. What a great birthday.

I'm sure I should be cheering your impending joining and your lowered premiums but kudos on the new job!

Please start working on having your employers ask our regional/local distributors why they won't offer Road Dog scottish porter, Double Dog double pale ale, K9 Cruiser and other seasonals/varieties from Flying Dog in stores here.

We can get the wheat, amber, golden, pale and IPA in sixers but can only get the Road dog or K9 in the sampler 12 packs & I had to go to Minnesota to get the Double dog.

Still wanting to try the wild dog, horn dog, gonzo imperial & other varieties I've slobbered over perusing their website.

1. When a once extraordinarily hoppy beer now seems pedestrian.
2. The phenomenon a person has when craving more bitterness in beer.
3. The long-term exposure to extremely hoppy beers; if excessive or prolonged, a habitual dependence on hops will occur.
4. When a "Double IPA" just is not enough

What fantastic news! It seems like it was just yesterday that you were a disgruntled employee of BFDS.......and look at you now...all grown up, engaged, and getting paid to do something that you love. I am envious.

Congratulations to both of you and good luck with the new job!

I wish you both the best,
Andrew

Don't want to make you slobber any more. But we're just now bottling a new Wild Dog beer. A german dopplebock. I'm sure Kansas won't get any of this either. The sales team won't tell me why you guys get shafted when you are so close. Oh well. I'll drink a couple for all of you. Oops maybe I've already had a couple. Oh well.

Cheers

Congrats dude.

I just saw that Gonzo and the doppelbock just had their labels approved by the MO ABC. Maybe there is some hope after all.
