for making her first brew today! A Milk/Sweet Stout is in the fermenter.

Just another convert!

Lupulin Threshold Shift
lupulin threshold shift \lu·pu·lin thresh·old shift\ n
1. When a once extraordinarily hoppy beer now seems pedestrian.
2. The phenomenon a person has when craving more bitterness in beer.
3. The long-term exposure to extremely hoppy beers; if excessive or prolonged, a habitual dependence on hops will occur.
4. When a "Double IPA" just is not enough

Well done!

Can't wait to hear how it turns out (and sample some at the May meeting/Maifest?) Hope you're planning to attend!

I've never made a milk stout but have definitely been thinking about it! Way to go!

Kudos,
Matt

Work's been way busy - that's my excuse for the way-slow reply.

THANK YOU! for all the encouragement. I'm already thinking about what I want to try next. And contemplating taking the leap to flying solo. But I don't want to embarrass myself yet, I don't think.

Can't wait to bring in the results and share! Wa-hoo!!
