Hey brewers,
Joan and I are taking on the daunting task of going to every bar up and down Mass street this summer (no, not all at once). I'll report back if I find anything interesting. We are starting at the South end and heading north, so far we visited 'Its Brothers' on a slow Wednesday evening after watching acrobats in the park.
Its Brothers is the biggest waste of tap handles that I have ever seen!!! A good thirty taps without a single extra ordinary beer. I didn't know there were so many mediocre choices out there. Ok, they do have Guiness products and Boulevard. I settled for a Boulevard Pale, Joan had a Harp. It is a nice clean space with interesting decor and lots of tvs, but we probably won't return. I'm hoping the selection gets better as we head north. Louise's is next.

[This is good.]
Megan and I have visited It's Brothers a few times, mainly in the very early evening -- it gets real crowded real quick as the night progresses -- to watch a hockey game. The bar itself is pretty so-so, and the food is painfully awful. However, they did turn the big screen to the 2004 presidential election debates when we asked them, so I guess the bartenders aren't all bad.
