Hey Andy,
What will it take to prep the press? Power washing perhaps?

There has been a few that has expressed interest in pressing apples. Lets all get together and do a clean job on the press. I just don't have time to do this by myself, but it shouldn't take long with a few hands.....We should be planning this since Apples are starting to come in eh?

I have a ton of apples coming in. And you all are welcome to come and pick them.

Keep in mind, I know nothing of apples.

There are pears also.

We have a pressure washer if that helps. Also have a paint sprayer that can be used with water for more psi. We would love to get in on apples. Just let us know.

During the barrel brew, Chuck stopped by and started working on the press. Then after awhile Anne and her husband stopped by and gave Chuck a few helping hands. This baby cleaned up good and the screw is now a 1 finger screw instead of a 2 person screw!! Chuck has to do a few minor things to it, but by all means is ready to start pressing. So lets start thinking about that Hard Cider or whatever else you want to press for your fermenters!!
