propane burner problem

#1 Post by Dale Wheeler » Sat Jan 03, 2009 11:31 am

Recently I was using my propane outdoor stove. In the middle of cooking, the flame died down to barely lit when it should have been full blast. The tank is not empty, works fine on my brewing burner. I tried again later, the problem remains.
Is the regulator bad? I'd like to get an opinion back before I go ouit to buy a new one.
Why would it go bad and can it be prevented with maintenance?

I would check and make sure that a spider has not built a nest in the air inlet tube.
Have Fun!
