Who is brewing Sunday, July 5th? The BrownShirt Brewing co.-- yes again.... We just can't seem to get it right, so we will keep trying and trying till we do... Kolsch is the flavor du jour. Feel free to stop by for a pint and a chat. PM if directions are needed. Fire up around 10ish, and should be done around 4ish. Have a happy 4th!

Good luck! Hopefully with all this practice you'll finally brew some drinkable beer. :D
Cheers!

I'm brewing 10 gallons of my Primum Aurum, a brew inspired by Orval. I have a starter of Bastogne on the stirplate as we speak. The only other task is to drink a couple bottles of Orval and culture the dregs for the authentic brett character you can't get out of a vial, oh darn :drunken: Also need to rack my hop bursted IPA, the last one was far too drinkable, it's all gone now...

Brewing today, 7/4 on a whim. Now that I've started to stockpile various grains, I can do that. Cool. It's a Mild(ish) Ale.

When I was in college, I had a friend from Bolivia. A native / local way to brew was with corn and the fermentation yeast came from people spitting in to the concoction.
