Glad to be aboard

#1 Post by BourbonDrinker » Fri Jul 11, 2008 12:06 pm

I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome and the great beer. I enjoyed attending my first LBG meeting last night and look forward to attending future events and sharing some of my own concoctions.

BrewFest sounds like a lot of fun and I look forward to participating this year. I ordered supplies this morning to get started brewing for the event. Which committees at BrewFest need volunteers? I've got experience in event planning, graphic design, printing, web-design, promitional product purchasing (apparel, glassware, etc.), and know some great local bands. Will any of these skills and connections be of help?

Devin,

Welcome to the LBG! Glad you were able to make the meeting last night. As far as BrewFest committees, we have Food, Entertainment, Beverage, and Logistics. I will start a post over in the BrewFest section of the forum to get the ball rolling on volunteers.
