Yeast Hulls

#1 Post by klickcue » Mon Dec 22, 2008 9:00 pm

Dried Yeast Hulls are used as a nutrient in wort to feed the new yeast cells. Yeast hulls are rich in vitamins and minerals.

With the excess yeast that I generate, I have decided to dry it for my wort and earth worms.

Typical dosage for the boiling wort is .5 to 1 gram per gallon of wort.
Have Fun!
