Off to Wisconsin

#1 Post by cyburai » Mon Aug 03, 2009 1:11 pm

I am heading to Madison, WI on Thursday. Driving back on Sunday, maybe Monday. If anyone wants beer from up there, here's the deal.

List in this thread what you are looking for. I will do my best to find them.

I need cash no later than 2pm Thursday. I wish I could front everyone, but economic conditions are preventing that.

Tell me if you are willing to allow me to fill the bill. If there is something interesting, I will pick it up.

Thanks.

Do they have Pliney or Green Flash up there? If so I would be glad to send cash for you to bring some back.

I did a quick look on each of the brewers webpages, found the where to buy, and it doesn't look like it.

Between that and Beeradvocate, you can kind of guess if the beer is available in that area.

I will be driving from Madison, WI to home.

Here's the route.

2 - 12 pack cans - Capitol Brewery - Pale Ale
1 - 4 pack bottle - New Glarus - Old English Porter

Thanks Sean!
Cheers!

Here's a list of breweries up in that area. The chances of getting those beers are the highest.

Oh well, thanks anyway for the offer, Sean, have a fun trip. Now, who is driving to California and has an empty trunk?

Sean,
I've already put my order in w/ you, but you haven't given me the payment information. I waited at the rest stop you specified in the stall that you stated, but you never showed up :jerk:

If you are willing to pay shipping, I should be going back to Oakland in the next few months. :)

I've never shipped beer, so I have no idea what a PITA it is or how much it costs...
Thanks!
