Flickr upload

#1 Post by Jensen » Tue Mar 01, 2011 11:34 pm

Okay I am really lost... After Jason's most excellent post a while back I had no problem posting lots of pics from my Flickr account. It has been a while... Well, now I can't seem to do anything. I have a pro account, but I certainly ain't no pro. Anyone else use Flickr? Something change? Maybe I am just getting too old... Any help appreciated.

Oh, grandpa!

Sign into flickr, browse to your picture, and click "Share this". You want the options "Grab the HTML/BBCode", whichever size you want (Medium 640 is good), and BBCode. Like so:

Copy the code in the box and paste it directly into the message body. The resulting image should look like this:

Sorry to hi-jack your thread! Just testing uploading a photo. Figured this is as good-a place as any.

OK...that was ridiculously painful in Picasa, too, but I got it!

In Picasa, just right click on the image and 'Copy Image Location'

Click the 'Img' button in your post and paste the link between the start and stop script.

Quick and easy:
