I entered the Whiskey Barrel Stout in the Drunk Monk Challenge in Wood Aged Beers. Cat 22C. Its listed as a Lawrence Brewers Guild entry w/ my name as an assistant brewer. Judging is March 10th...

Lupulin Threshold Shift

1. When a once extraordinarily hoppy beer now seems pedestrian.
2. The phenomenon a person has when craving more bitterness in beer.
3. The long-term exposure to extremely hoppy beers; if excessive or prolonged, a habitual dependence on hops will occur.
4. When a "Double IPA" just is not enough

Our beer didnt place. I will report back w/ judges comments when i recieve them.....shucks.... :?

I am curious on the results. Prolly didn't like it cause of the ABV.
