Every time...

#1 Post by Matt » Sun Dec 23, 2007 9:18 pm

Every damn time I work on my brewing rig, something has to go wrong. Seriously, wtf?!?

Tonight I finished all my grinding and such, finishing edges so they don't cut the crap out of me, etc -- and just as I finished, my roof starts leaking like I'm in a damn rain forest with freezing rain.

The good thing about being a brewer who's upgrading to keggles is that I have all these 6 gallon plastic buckets just lying around. :)

(I'm trying to stay positive...)

If I can just make it through the night, the maintenence guys are even going to come out tomorrow -- Xmas Eve no less -- melt all the snow off the roof, dry it out, and re-seal it. I hate seeing anyone work on holidays (especially on a friggin' roof in this cold), but it was their idea, and I like my sofa not to squish when I sit on it.

Happy holidays everyone... stay warm (and dry). Get safely to wherever you may be going, and safely home again.

As for me, I've got a pump to go order on Ebay (finally). Nothing is stopping me from finishing this rig. NO POWER IN THE 'VERSE!
