February Meeting

#1 Post by cfitodd » Mon Jan 28, 2008 12:03 am

Hey everyone! My wife and I just moved back to the Kansas City area after having lived out of state for awhile and as a homebrewer, I was pleasantly surprised to find the LBG existed so close to where we live. We are hoping to attend your next meeting and I was just curious as to what we should bring to not stand out so obviously as the "new kids". I'm an extract only brewer and would love to get into the all-grain process. I hope to see you soon and look forward to meeting everyone!

Welcome Todd! Any barley based libation is always welcome-- homebrew or commercial. Not more than a sixer\growler is ever needed. A bag of pretzels or some type of homemade dip is always received with smiles. But the biggest thing of all to bring, even empty handed, is yourself. There is always plenty to go around and lots of info and tips to share as well. Looking forward to meeting you.

Yes, welcome Todd! As Jensen said, as long as you bring yourself, that is the main concern. Bringing extras in the way of snacks and brew is always welcome!

Looking forward to meeting you and your wife!
Thanks!

Welcome Todd!
Cheers!
